Venue & Accommodation

The Workshop will be held from 16^th – 17^th of October 2018 in Alès- France. The Center of Materials of Mines Alès (C2MA) of IMT-Mines Alès is the host of this event. It will take place in the laboratory which is situated closed to the historic center of Alès.

Located thirty minutes from Nimes, an hour from Montpellier and one hour and thirty minutes from Marseille, Ales is known as capital of the Cevennes. The city of Ales offers its residents a pleasant living environment.

Alès has excellent road, rail and air links with the rest of France. It is about 40 km from Nîmes airport and 70 km from Montpellier-Méditerranée airport. It is accessible by several highways (A7, A4 and A54) and by rail (take the TGV (High Speed Train) to Nîmes and then change for Alès).  Alès is located around 40 minutes from Nîmes by train.
